CEREMONIES
CEREMONIES
Life is a Ceremony. A Continuous Exploration of Our Wholeness.
Service Description
Ceremony, regardless of the type, is an opportunity to re-establish connection to ourselves, to others and the world around us. When committing to show up in Ceremony, it is imperative to understand that we are nature. That we are not just connected to nature— that we actually are nature. And as a part of nature, the cycles of nature reside within us. Death & rebirth, gain and loss, joy and grief, feast and famine, bonding and abandonment are all facets of nature. Nature is in a continuous state of evolution, and so are we. When we enter into Ceremony, we enter with the inherent understanding that as an aspect of ourselves is yearning to emerge it requires another aspect of ourselves to die. We must let go, we must surrender, and honor what was to create space for what is meant to be. This is the purpose of Ceremony. I assure you, it’s not quite as morbid or frightening as it may seem. When we think of pleasure for example, making love to ourselves or another, when we reach orgasm, la petite mort, we experience a little death. Making love is a ceremony within itself. Far more than orgasmic climax, it’s a psychological loss, and a spiritual gain that makes us temporarily “lose” ourselves; and it’s in that loss of our conscious selves that our spirit emerges and we Awaken, Align & Actualize the truth of who we are as Creators and Birthers not just of babies, but of the lives we are destined to live. Just as the word nature comes from the latin root nat, which means to birth; Ceremony is the communion, the celebration and the commemoration of the beginning of one cycle and the end of another.
